HP VSA 11.0 - Stable? Ready for production?

Last Updated: 5/8/14

4/28/14

Our recently setup HP VSA 11.0 (with all available updates v11.0.00.1263.0) two node cluster just had a major glitch and rebooted all the VM's. Data loss may have occurred as well. I just opened a ticket with HP.

we will see what happens. You might want to avoid the HP VSA 11.0 (virtual storage appliance) until it gets a little more mature.

I read reviews and thought this would turn out well. it still might.

Still not sure of the the cause, but we are having PVSCSI errors in the VM vmware.log file for the HP VSA (2014)

I'm sure it is related. We will see what vmware says.
