shares some important information for people struggling to insert a .mp4 into Power point 2010 presentation.

 

 

*Only PowerPoint 2013 and later. The 32-bit version of PowerPoint 2010 can play an .mp4 or .mov file only if the computer has a QuickTime Player installed. (Read Download QuickTime for Windows, on the Apple site, for more information.)

 

So there you have it. Powerpoint 2010, you need apple quicktime. Powerpoint 2013 does not.
