Windows Server 2016 v1709, v1803, v1809 ISO Download
Last Updated: 10/7/18Looking to download Windows Server 2016 v1709 or later (1803, 1809) ISO file?? Well you cannot. It does not exist!!! Trust me. I looked everywhere under my Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC).

Microsoft rebranded Windows Server 2016 v1709 and later to "Windows Server" with no year after the name!
To downoad this go back to VLSC and look for "Windows Server Standard" or "Windows Server Datacenter"
Some additional details that Microsoft has communicated poorly:
- Windows Server v1709 and later is server core only. No GUI (Desktop experience).
- ReFS and Dedup on the same volume requires "Available on Windows Server, version 1709 and later."
Conclusion
To get the latest version and features of Windows Server 2016 v1709 and later, you will have to install Windows Server core (with no GUI).
