Powershell intune AAD bitlocker key backup error 0x80070005 (access denied)

I was using a Powershell script for Intune devices to backup bitlocker recovery key to Azure AD (AAD), but we got error 0x80070005 (access denied).

The page below is correct, the problem for me was not a local permission problem as the error would imply.

The comment suggested looking at the web proxy service on the network.  We were running local security software that was intercepting TLS.

We had to exclude the domain: enterpriseregistration.windows.net
